Official Records Contacts

This is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those requests to the responsible public office.

Sullivan County Record Contacts

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office and Jail are at 58 Old Route 17, Monticello, NY 12701. The jail line is 845-794-7102; the Sheriff's patrol and non-emergency line is 845-794-7100. Those contacts can identify the current procedure for an immediate custody question, but they do not promise disclosure of restricted material or a record that is not held by the office.

For a Sheriff-held existing record, use the county FOIL process. Nadine Bury, the Sheriff's Confidential Secretary, is the Sheriff FOIL contact at nadine.bury@sullivanny.gov. Countywide FOIL contact Rosie Savaglio-Chous is at 100 North Street, Monticello, NY 12701, foil@sullivanny.gov, 845-807-0450, fax 845-807-0460. The county accepts written, email, and fax requests; its optional FOIL form can help describe a date-bounded request.

The county explains a five-business-day grant, denial, or acknowledgment framework. It has not published a booking-photo fee or a special booking-record turnaround. For court case status or a disposition, Sullivan County Court is at 414 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701, 845-791-3540, open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except state holidays. Court records, police incident reports, jail records, state custody records, federal custody records, and immigration detention records each belong to different custodians.
