Finding an arrest or booking record in Sullivan County can mean sorting out several custodians. The Sheriff, an arresting agency, the courts, and New York state systems each hold different information. This private reference explains those routes using official sources and does not publish booking-photo galleries or keep official records.

Purpose of This Reference

Sullivan County does not currently publish a verified public jail roster, booking feed, or booking-photo policy. That makes the custodian important. The Sullivan County Sheriff may hold a jail or booking record, the arresting agency may hold an incident report, and a court holds the later case record and disposition. New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, or DOCCS, is a separate state-custody system.
